Urban Oasis
Our Mission
Urban Oasis is a University of Michigan student organization that aims to use indoor gardening as a means to connect people to their peers and to their own mental health, through the development of an online community and information space, as well as through social events and workshops.
Our History
We started in 2022 as a project for Innovation in Action, a competition hosted by the University of Michigan's Center for Socially Engaged design. In 2023 we are growing to become a full student organization at the University.
Our Team
Our team is made up of passionate and dedicated individuals who are committed to protecting the environment. We have 5 student founders in fields ranging from engineering to computer science to UI/UX design devoted to bringing indoor gardening to as many people as possible.
